Bike Cops

I don’t feel great about the idea of having bike companies stop selling to police departments. That might be bump in their revenue, but it will hurt a lot of independent bike shops. Police departments need their bikes maintained, and almost always outsource that via service contracts to local shops. That steady income is often a pretty decent part of a shop’s cash flow, and can really help make ends met (especially in the off season).
